Accessibility Statement

To provide all users with a better browsing experience, this site is constructed in accordance with the World Wide Consortiums recommended specifications.

Validated Code

The code used to generate these web pages is HTML and CSS. This has been written and checked in accordance with the W3C. Sounds like waffle? Well, it means that I have taken care to ensure this website is browser and device independent and also accessible to people using assistance devices and plugins. If there's any problem getting around this site then please let me know at info@tn38.net.

Logical Layout

One of my pet hates are sites with no logical layout. I dislike having to find stuff. With that in mind, I built this site to be intuitive and easy to navigate. Title at the top, navigation directly underneath, then the content. If this is confusing in any way to people then let me know why as I'm always interested in peoples points of view with regards to usability.

Attractive and Clear

Careful consideration was taken to ensure the content of this site is delivered in a viewable and comforting way. The surrounding features such as navigation, search and external links are lower contrast than the content. This serves to aid the users eyes to fall on to the content making it more readable.

I chose Georgia as the primary font as it was a design decision that complimented the look of the site. The font size of the content should be large enough to be readable to the majority of viewers however browser settings can enlarge or reduce the text size as desired.

Comment System

The curse of any blog is its commenting system. Even the smallest of blogs receive huge amounts of spam which is a daily chore to remove. To combat this, I have employed a seamless and powerful JavaScript solution.

For those users not able to post due to lack of support for script, I have used a fallback method which allows you to email your comments to me instead.

Terms of Use

This website is article based and is the vent for my research, tips to share and other related information, whether to do with Hastings or the World Wide Web. The idea is to implement the suggestions made (although I hold no responsibility for your website, data or hardware so get that straight) and create a usable, more interactive and successful website.
