TN38 Reboot: Rinse & Repeat
Published: August 13, 2006
Back again

It's been a long time since the last post and I just wish to apologise to all the commenters for not publishing your thoughts and responding lately.
It's been a roller-coaster of the following:
A holiday to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic [Caribbean] »»»
Another holiday to Cala Bona in Majorca [Mediterranean]
The monstrous back log of work such holidays present
Over 3000 blog comments to wade through, most of which are the usual pharmaceutical products which turn me into a real man and cheap, fake Rolex watches
Just as many emails to read and write
Computers to fix
...and now and again, I eat and sleep
Due to the comment abuse, it was time to upgrade the blog. I use Movable Type and it's an old version so the time came to upgrade to the latest, get to hottest anti junk filters installed, layout the content more effectively and implement some features missing from before, all of which required another rebuild with lighter valid HTML and CSS so may as well give it yet another coat of paint [forgive any CSS or script errors as it's work in progress]. There is now a higher content to markup ratio as there are less structural elements than before and despite looking more colourful, the template images total less than 10Kb in size so there should be yet another performance increase.
Anyway, back to work!

I bet he hasn't. He has more holidays than anyone I know.

I'll stop sending them when you start buying.
So where you going next?
Congratulations on the rinse and repeat. Now that you have used up all your holiday entitlement for the year, it's time to get back to the daily grind, eh? ;-)
