Part 3 of my 5 part plan

I've finally found time to finish another project of mine, step 3 of the plan. It's the Sussex Business Network and is an open, free directory for Sussex businesses, large and small, to get listed, post news, job opportunities and business events being run. Being almost a social network, the more you put in the more you get out but the minimum benefit of joining the network is a free link to your website.

Just for the techies out there, this website is run with WordPress and consists of many butchered plugins to become a virtually maintenance free directory and posting service. Due to the level of time committed and the deadlines to meet, the site was written with speed. If there are any errors along the way, please do not hesitate to contact me and I'll sort them ASAP.
Contributing
By joining the network you get a profile you can complete which will give you a listing in the business directory. The default role is subscriber which is a read-only role. There's nothing inside that isn't outside so spammers will have nothing to gain. Every submission will need to be verified as a business in Sussex which, once complete, we'll upgrade to the role of contributor. Every contributor gets listed in the directory and is allowed to post in the categories News, Events and Jobs.
We are also seeking strategic partners to the network in various locations around Sussex and the single aim is growth. We need each and every business in Sussex listed. I'm from Hastings and have intimate knowledge of the companies here which makes it easy for me to build the network in this area. Strategic partners in the distant corners of Sussex can ultimately build up their areas far more effectively so if you're interested in becoming a partner, get in touch.
The role of a partner within the network is Editor. As an Editor, you have unique privileges, most important of which is the ability to email all Contributors. Now, in terms of reaching markets with your newsletters, goods and services, the potential is huge. It is, however, dependant on the hard work of Editors to populate the network with companies. Again, the more you put in the more you get out. The facility of Editor is a responsible one due to the nature of the privileges allowed so there won't be many and each will need to be vetted accordingly.
So, if you're in Sussex and you're a busy web designer, business support service, employment agency or event management company, you're in a great position to reach lots of people, contribute to the network and ultimately build your business through the network.
