Here is my issue:

Recently, I Googled my site and the search results came up as such:

Then catchy site information underneath
http://mysiteaddress.com/

The hyperlink shows up as a dot instead of the site name and I don't know how to change it!  I'm going to do new and exciting things to the site to make it multi-functional so obviously having the hyperlink show up as a dot is a little unnerving and defeating.

Can someone please help me?  How can I change this?  How did it happen to begin with?
