newbie seeks advice on domain names and email

Hi,

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post.
I have just bought a domain name from go daddy
I cannot afford to maintain a web site until next year but I have been told I can still use the domain name and have visitors re-directed to my myspace page.

Also can I still use the free email address I was given with this domain name....If this is possible how would I go about it.

Sorry if this is a lame question but I am a complete beginner when it comes to domain names and email addresses.....been using hotmail up until now.

When you registered with Godaddy, you would have received some account details.
You can Login to Godaddy using your account details and manage your account.

The option to forward visitors to another web-site (e.g. myspace) is "Domain FOrwarding".

You can also use the free email address you were given with this domain name.

You can browse the godaddy site for Help and tutorials.
The tutorial for e-mail setup in Outlook express is at

secureserver dot net/email/email_outlookexpress.htm
